Brief Introduction:
Yuhong RSA-821 polymer modified waterproofing membrane is the curly waterproofing material that uses filament polyester non-woven fabric as embryo substrate and adopts specially-prepared polymer modified asphalt as the dipcoating material. As to the isolating material, its lower surface is covered with PE film (white) and the upper surface is covered with HDPE film (black).
Features of Polymer Modified Waterproofing Membrane:
1. Anti-chloridion impermeability, salinity resistant, alkali resistant, anti-chemical medium corrosion
2. Form high-strength waterproof layer, strong press water resisting ability
3. Good tensile strength, high elongation rate, remarkable adaptivity to the shrinkage, deformation, and crack of the substrate
4. Fine high/low temperature resistance and weather resistance
5. Large-thickness, high-strength PYK, being puncture, break, crack and fatigue resistant

Application Scope:
This waterproofing membrane is applied for concrete construction waterproofing work under a corrosion environment. It is widely used in saline, alkaline areas and offshore engineering.

Construction Process:
1. Substrate treatment: The waterproof substrate should be smooth, firm, and dry. Dust, clay and other noxious substances should be thoroughly removed before construction.

Generally, some special parts like movement joint should be attached with a layer of additional sheet.
2. Membrane laying and bonding: Bake the lower surface and the substrate of membrane through flame gun or blowtorch, thus making the surface asphalt melt down. Push the membrane at the same time, and roll the air out of the membrane through a roller. As a result, the membrane is smoothly, firmly pasted on the substrate.
3. Membrane lapping and sealing: The overlapping width of the membrane should be 100mm. The lap seam part should take the modified bitumen overflowed as the standard, and the modified bitumen should be 2mm wide and uniform.
Construction Hints:
1. No construction on rainy or snowy days
2. Suitable construction temperature is 5-35℃.

Package, Transportation and Preservation:
1. It is roll-packed by polybag.
2. During storage and transport, prevent rain, insolation, high temperature(50℃).
3. Storage life is 1 year.
